Spider veins treatment

Spider vein treatment using foam sclerotherapy.

The term telangiectasia or spider veins was coined in 1807 by Von Graf to describe a superficial vessel of the skin visible to the human eye.
spider veins range from 0.1–1 mm in diameter, and represent an expanded micro veins (venule), expanded connections (capillary) or expounded micro arteries (arteriole).

After injecting the sclerosing solutions, cell death occur after 15-60minutes (depends on the concentration). The sclerosing solutions then rapidly dilute to ‘safe’ concentrations distal to the point of injection.
